4650 North Mammoth Mine Road
Goldfield, Arizona 85219
Open 7 days a week 10am-5pm
Situated at the base of the Superstition Mountains, the boomtown of Goldfield is located 4½ miles North of Apache Junction off of Mammoth Mine Road. With the discovery of mines in
1892, Goldfield became a booming community
boasting a population of 5 thousand people, 3 saloons, boarding houses, a
hotel and a general store. There were 50 working mines in the district. The
legendary Lost Dutchman Mine has never been rediscovered, but the
Superstition Mountains draw adventurers seeking lost gold as well as
recreational riches.
Today, Goldfield offers an interesting guided tour of a reconstructed section of the Old Mammoth Mine
and hosts several unique shops, a saloon, livery, a narrow
gauge railway and the Goldfield Museum.
The town is open daily 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Hi, We are planning a trip from NC and we wondering if the Gunfighters will be at Goldfield on Thursday,
4/21. I know that you all are volunteers and that Saturdays and Sundays are your normal days to come out. Recently, we called Goldfield about making plans and they said that you all often come out on Thursdays and Fridays during this season, but that it’s not a guarantee.
If the Gunfighters are not planning to come out on that Thursday, do you know if you they will definitely be there on Sun,, Sat,
, or Sun, ? We’d like to purchase our plane tickets ASAP but don’t want to do it until we know which is the best day to see you. Your talents look cool and we’d love to see you!
Thanks for your considerations of looking at the schedule, if you can!
Gratefully, Poppy P. Charlotte, NC @2011
